You have been enjoying the ‘Partridges experience’ for almost 6 years now. We first opened our café doors to you on the 13th of March 2007 with just 11 tables but due to your populardemand we now offer you 31! + 4 tables outside in the courtyard for those sunny days and sneaky smokes!!  We’re proud to say we’re a part of the fantastic town of Gorey!

If you’re ever around please do call in! There are so many things for you to enjoy, from the local art displayed on our walls to the wonderful Maggie’s Pastries!  For years we’ve been listening to your suggestions and request so if you don’t see what you like…. Just ask and we’ll try our very best to get it for you! 

At Partridges, we also offer free WiFi to all of our customers, a book exchange and a dedicated baby changing area.

Please, take the time to browse through the website, built on your own suggestions and words!  There are also special offers, monthly discounts on products and always a friendly smile as you walk in our door!

Chef wanted in Gorey area for summer contract which may lead to a full time position!

The ideal candidate will;

  • Have a proven ability to manage their work time accordingly
  • Have a broad level of experience with European Cuisine
  • Be enthustaic and vibrant with their outlook and cooking
  • Have a willingness to learn and develop their career
  • Have a 'can do' attitude
  • Have an excellent understanding of and comply with all HACCUP regulations
  • Have art least two years experience at chef de partie level in a very fast paced kitchen

Only chefs meeting these conditions may apply. In return we offer;
